In this statue, the Buddha is depicted as being ready to receive a bowl of food. On the morning after achieving enlightenment, the Buddha went to receive food from the King and Queen (also his parents). By bringing food to the Buddha, one is blessed with good health and prosperity, which is why he wanted to visit the King and Queen first to bestow these blessings upon them.

The Buddha is dressed in full royal attire standing on a open lotus flower stack on top of a multi tier pedestal.
